What are the problems facing the textile industry?
The first is the lack of demand. From the domestic perspective, the retail sales of units of clothing, shoes and hats above the quota in the domestic market in January and February fell by 31% compared with the same period last year. Internationally, since March, a large number of export orders have been delayed or cancelled, and new orders have also been sharply reduced.
Second, the pressure on industries to stabilize employment is increasing. The pressure of order reduction is conducting upstream along the industrial chain, which will affect the normal operation of the industrial chain of the textile industry, and the employment situation of the industry tends to be severe.
Third, enterprises reflect the shortage of funds. Under the influence of order decline and order return, the inventory overhang of raw materials and finished products of textile enterprises is increasing. In particular, the chemical fiber industry, because of continuous production cannot be shut down, is facing a large inventory pressure occupation, and the amount of capital is also increasing.
